In the age of instant communication, it seems more and more difficult to stay informed. Keep in touch with Mount Olive through our weekly bulletin, the school's weekly newsletter, our bi-monthly e-magazine "The Mount Olive Lutheran" (archived below), or our e-newsletter.

Our "Restoring to Glory" Capital Campaign

For over 115 years, our church has been ministering to the needs of the community. While our facilities have changed, our goals remains the same--to honor our commitments to Christ, to one another, and to the betterment of our neighborhood. Yet, despite our strong heritage, some significant challenges remain. We have put together an ambitious plan to restore our church and school. Read our Campaign Brochure to see how you can help. To date, we have more than $1,065,000 pledged.

Featured EventsReconciliation Sunday

The Ambassadors of Reconciliation return to Mount Oliveto offer their Oral Report to the congregation. Their presentation will be held Saturday, July 15 at 5:30 pm in the Multipurpose Room. Light Refreshments will be served.

Ambassadors of Reconciliation Team member, Rev. Bruce Zagel, will also be our guest preacher as we find reconciliation through Word and Sacrament in our Worship Services (Saturday, July 15 at 4:00 pm and Sunday, July 16 at 9:00 am). The AoR team will also lead our Sunday Morning Bible Class following the Sunday service.

If you have not obtained one already, there are still copies of the devotional booklet "Forgiven to Forgive" available (one to a household). Please consider working through this 6-week self study as an individual, a couple, or a family to keep the conversation about reconciliation going as we confess to and forgive one another.

Please join us as we recognize God’s reconciliation of sinners to Himself through Jesus Christ.
